Laurie Sayevich Horz is an experienced member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice. She concentrates her practice on all facets of commercial, contractual, franchise and corporate governance disputes in Federal and State courts and arbitration. Ms. Sayevich Horz has extensive experience in the areas of commercial real estate disputes as well as environmental litigation. She has successfully tried cases and argued appeals in Federal and state courts in New York, has represented clients in litigation outside of New York, as well as in arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and the International Center for Dispute Resolution.
Ms. Sayevich Horz received her Juris Doctor Degree, with distinction, in 1995 from Hofstra University School of Law, where she was the Managing Editor of Notes and Comments of the Hofstra Labor Law Journal. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, with honors, in 1992 from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She is admitted to practice law in New York and the Eastern District of New York.
She is the former law clerk to the Hon. E. Thomas Boyle, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of New York, and is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
